If you install the VSL garage storage lift on the side wall, make sure that the loaded platform can be raised high enough to allow your vehicle to be parked under it. If you mount the VSL column on the front wall, the loaded platform needs to be raised just high enough to accommodate the hood of the parked vehicle.
